SAFE GUIDE SESSIONS

October 17, 2015 (Saturday) – 9 AM to 12 noon – St Andrew’s Anglican Church at 8 Locks Road, Dartmouth. Register by October 9, 2015

January 11, 2016 (Monday) – 6:30 – 9:30 PM – St. David’s Church, Lake Echo. Please register by January 4, 2016

February 6, 2016 (Saturday) – 9 AM to 12 noon – St Luke’s Church on Veteran’s Avenue, Dartmouth. Please register by January 29, 2016

OTHER SESSIONS

Sparks & Brownies Can Camp – and so Can You! – Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 7 – 9:15 pm at St Luke’s Church on Veteran’s Avenue, Dartmouth. This session does not replace OAL(Outdoor Activity Leader) training. It is an information session for anyone who has Sparks or Brownies and has never tried residential camping. We will be talking about themes, program ideas, menus, Safe Guide paperwork, pre-camp parent letters/meetings, the camp lottery (for Guide residential properties), involving Rangers and bedrolls and sit-upons.

Please register by October 9, 2015

Standard First Aid Course – January 30 – 31, 2016 (Saturday & Sunday) from 9am – 5pm both days at Guide House, 3581 Dutch Village Road, Halifax. We need a minimum of 8 Guiders/Transitioning members/Rangers to run the course. Please register by January 22, 2016.
